Since his beginnings in opera, von Büren has sung roles such as Figaro, Conte d'Almaviva, Guglielmo, Papageno, Mozart's Don Giovanni, as well as Belcore, Malatesta, Valentin, Albert, Marcello, Silvio, and Escamillo.

The baritone von Büren has also performed academic music such as Brahms's "Ein Deutsche Requiem" at the National Auditorium in Madrid with the ORCAM, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in A.N.M., Mozart's Requiem, Jommelli's Requiem, Hyden's Die Schöpfung, Handel's Messiah, and many others. Along with his pianist, they perform chamber music recitals in Spain where they interpret Lieder, melodies, and romances by composers such as Schubert, Schumann, Strauss, Mahler, Duparc, Fauré, Ravel, Rachmaninov, Falla, and Halfter.

He works within the National System of Choirs and Orchestras of Venezuela ("El Sistema"), under the conduttion of Gustavo Dudamel, where he has toured the most important theaters and auditoriums in the world, such as La Scala in Milan, the Royal Albert Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Salzburg Festival, and many others.
As a soloist, he has sung in important halls such as the Sala Leopoldina in Wroclaw, Poland, and the Palau de Musica Catalana, Teatro Cervantes, and the Teatro Real in Madrid, where is part of the "CRESCENDO" young singer program, performing lyric recitals throughout Spain.
In 2020, he won 1st place in the "Pedro Bote" Music Competition in Spain; in May 2021, he won 2nd place in the Chamber Music Competition in the city of Albox, Spain; the award for best song performance by Antón García Abril at the Antón García Abril Chamber Music Competition in Baza, Granada; and 2nd place in the "Lola Rodríguez de Aragón" Opera Competition in Madrid, Spain. This year in 2025, he will continue to perform roles such as Escamillo, Schaunard, Barone Duphol, and Morales in diferents productions, along with Zarzuela concerts at the National Auditorium, and Baroque aria concert and Carmina Burana at the National Auditorium.
